An Asbestos Management survey uses less invasive techniques. Management surveys can be conducted by taking smaller samples, for example ceiling tiles, and therefore the building can remain occupied throughout the survey. It aims to highlight any asbestos containing materials that might be disturbed during normal occupancy. Where access is viable, the materials will be tested. If for any reason we cannot gain access, it would be assumed that asbestos is present. If material is found to have asbestos all other similar materials will be presumed to be containing asbestos too.
