Asbestos Management and Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys Completed in Greater Manchester

A large storage company approached Pillars Environmental to undertake a mixture of Asbestos Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys and Asbestos Management Surveys to numerous locations around the Greater Manchester area to ensure their portfolio was complying with their legal obligations in regards to asbestos in buildings. The sites consisted of different build structures and sizes ranging from early 1900s refurbished mills to 1990s metal sheeting style warehouses.

Due to the time constraints of the proposed works, we dedicated two of our experienced asbestos surveying teams to undertake works on a programme of three and four units each. All asbestos survey reports were handed over to the client within the timescales previously agreed.

All the units were live and in full operation and each had specific requirements, with some units being live 24 hours a day. Our asbestos surveyors worked closely with the site representatives to complete each unit in a safe manner and with minimal disruption to unit owners.
